The public voice
Our Belper Mills exists to represent the public voice in the discussions and decisions about what happens to the Mills complex in Belper.
Whilst we do not seek to define what this voice should be, we are clear we want further damage to the Mills to be prevented and restoration work to consider the needs of residents and businesses.
First Public Event at Strutts Community & Business Centre – May 2002
Saturday 21 May 2022 saw the first OBM public engagement event, which was extremely well attended with over 150 visitors during the day.

As part of Pride 2022, children from Long Row Primary School drew pictures of the Mill showing their “pride” in our local landmark.
