Hello, Our Belper Mills friend!
Following on from the successful open event held in May, an unincorporated association, known as ‘Our Belper Mills’ has now been formally established.

Constitution
A copy of the agreed Constitution is attached, along with a Membership form (no subscription) for completion, should you wish to take an active role within the group at some point, however large or small – any help is much appreciated.
Members and Supporters
OBM Members can assist in many ways from making tea or handing out leaflets, to helping at events, activities or being part of a future Committee. Membership also gives you the right to vote at OBM meetings.
Supporters
If you would prefer a less active role but are still interested in the work of Our Beper Mills you can become an OBM Supporter; this means you will receive newsletters and communications via our database, but there is no need to complete the membership form.
As a valued Supporter, your involvement will greatly assist in meeting the aims and objectives of the group, capturing public opinion and demonstrating the overall levels of community support and interest to other key partner organisations involved in the future of the mills.
As an informed mechanism for two- way communication between the public and the partner organisations, we are working hard to ensure that the response information captured so far is utilised effectively, with a plan for other public events in the future to feedback and develop further.
The production of the OBM leaflet has reached the final development stage, and we are delighted to direct you to the draft edition on our website. The production of an OBM Newsletter will also follow in due course.
As a result of our presence at the recent Belper Food Festival, the community continues to show enormous support for our aims and we welcome everyone who has shown an interest so far. We hope to be adding further information and feedback to our website soon and look forward to planning future events
Now that the group Constitution is official, we thank you for registering as an OBM Supporter. If you wish to play an active part and secure your right to vote on OBM issues in the future, please visit the website and complete the membership form accordingly.
With our first successful event under our belt, initial press coverage and their keen interest in our progress, we look forward to gaining more and more impact on behalf of Our Belper Mills.
